Juggling is one of the most entertaining skills in soccer, but ironically, the player rarely gets a chance to match or manipulate during the game. One of the basic rules of football states that if you want your team to maintain possession for as long as possible, and today’s game is dependent on prolonged possession, then the ball must remain on the ground for as long as possible. You won’t find yourself manipulating in nearly any situation on the field (unless you want to humiliate your opponents or something), but that doesn’t mean soccer shouldn’t be coached. In fact, it’s one of the easiest skills to train and not only that, but you’ll also see results very quickly.

Juggling affects a variety of terminal skills, and most importantly, it’s fun! Learning and developing as a soccer player with difficult or boring exercises isn’t the best way to go, but if you can train and have fun at the same time, here’s a proven golden recipe. Here are some of the skills that have been improved more clearly with the help of sorcery:

Ball control: Perhaps the most improved skill in playing magic games is ball control. By doing constant juggling exercises, you’ll learn exactly how hard it is to tilt the ball with your foot to stay within your range, which is basically what ball control is all about.

In the long run, this improves your agility and you can control the ball faster in the match, in situations that require lightning reactions. It also helps you make quicker changes in direction, which is great when dribbling the ball past an opponent’s goal.

Capture and Receive: This is especially true for balls coming towards you in the air that need to be controlled. Soccer allows you to quickly judge how soft or hard the ball is to hit, so it doesn’t go out of your body’s reach. Although having to hold a long ball in your thigh or foot wouldn’t be the same as moving a ball the same height with your thigh or foot, it is still a good basis for learning how to perform these movements perfectly.
